India is home to the world’s largest blind population, even though 80% of blindness is preventable or curable. Millions remain in darkness simply because they cannot afford and/or access available eye care.

SEF, USA is the largest free eye care program in the world!
For 27 years, SEF, USA has been working to eliminate curable blindness in India.
Today, it supports a network of 29 hospitals across 14 states in India
and performed over 447,280 free eye surgeries in FY 2024-25.
